How can we express what fascination and obsession we have with THEO’s Tim Van Steenbergen sunglass collection? How about a poem!?
These shapes, so fresh and new;
Lovely lenses and gradient hues,
Asymmetrical acetates, neon opaques…
How we adore you, let us count the ways!
1. COLOUR FOR MEN
There are those masculine types that like a little vibrancy in their eyewear - this line offers it without going the sporty route! At minimum, 17 colourways to choose from! Wow!
Whose face is actually symmetrical? nobody’s (not naturally anyway)… and Theo likes to flatter with this idea. This refreshing playfulness creates a whimsy not many can top.
For a fashion frame, the feel and fit can sometimes be secondary to look - but not in this series! The fusion of titanium and acetate together on these frames creates a heavy look without the weight. Big heads, small noses, wide bridges rejoice: they have a shape made to fit any face!
4. LUSH FINISHING
Not only does the Theo & Steenbergen team design each shape and colour, but also the finish of these frames as well. Some models are matte, some are patterned by laser etching, some slick and glossy. You can count on every detail being a part of the final vision.
Each series by this collaboration team has been inspired by different facets: From the Latin names of butterflies, to tree barks, to renown muscle cars, even Spain’s Running of the Bulls! With each release from this team you can sense a surreal connection to everyday life.
6. STAR QUALITY
Tim Van Steenbergen sunglasses were featured in the Sex & The City 2 movie on none other than Kim Cattrall. Check out how sauve the Commodore looks on that camel - oops! In reference to the desert scene.
You won’t find any other shades that are as unique as these Belgian beauties. Period. Each piece is fashion forward without participating in a trend creating lasting & distinct look.
The flavour of these sunnies has been a huge hit this summer in Vancouver. Drop by soon to check out which model suits you! Click here for more info on this series.
