Erin won for best outfit - sort of Ralph Lauren meets Flashdance…Julie, with her penchant for cleaning, showed us what REAL sweeping looks like…Paul did not approve of people moving rocks mid-game…;)

Exactly - no one at Vancouver Curling Club! Last night team bruce eyewear swaggered into Vancouver Curling Club, certain that even first-time curlers could at least look good while hurling rocks and sweeping…and guess what? We all have new respect for those people who play this seriously challenging sport!

While actual wipeouts were relatively rare (Nada had 3, Nen had 1, I think?) - we’re talking 2 hours of playing, people! - We came to realize that you need balance, co-ordination, aerobic fitness and real finesse to be a star on ice…so….next time you think curling is one of those “I could pick that up in a weekend” sports?
